Catcher in the Rye

Hmmm... i'm not really sure exactly how i feel about this book at this point, so far it's kind of boring and hard to get into. But then again we are only three chapters in. I do know that I like the style in which the book is written, stream of conciousness or whatever it is called. I've never really read a book that was written like this and i think that it's interesting to me because its easier to connect with Holden in that you can see exactly every thought that is going through his head as every event in the book is happening. And I also think that you can see more clearly who the author is as a person because the thoughts that he is giving Holden probably reflect his own thoughts and feelings.
